Motorised Platform Elevator Wagons
Bonciani owns 30 motorised platform elevator wagons, of which 2 are laterally movable and 3 diesel/electric suitable for works in the underground and tunnels.They are used for the construction and maintenance of railway, tram and underground electric traction lines.
Locomotives
Bonciani owns 7 railway locomotives up to 1100 HP which are used for moving other vehicles and trains along the site.
Motorised railway wagons
Bonciani owns 17 platform elevator wagons and crane for loads up to 20 tonnes.
These are for various services, maintenance and inspection of the overhead line and are fitted with cranes for hoisting loads and materials.
Railway wagons
Bonciani owns 40 wagons and flatcars.
These are used for transporting materials and equipment.
Road/rail vehicles
Bonciani owns 7 road/rail vehicles, 4 of which are loaders for handling materials, one for tram and trolley bus works, one road/rail concrete mixer and one vehicle with an electrical insulation system for tram and trolley bus works on electrically live wires.
Wiring wagons
Bonciani S.p.A. owns 2 wiring wagons used for installing new railway conductors:
- Automatic wiring wagon: for automatic speed setting based on the tension that the line should have. The cables and wires immediately reach the desired tension.
- Manual wiring wagon: the operator has to maintain and control the tension of the wires and cables unwinding from the spools.
Overhead wiring wagons
Bonciani owns two overhead wiring wagons.
These vehicles are for installing new conductors, removing worn conductors and can also be used as heavy ladders for electric traction works.
Wagons for collection of demolition products
Bonciani owns 4 wagons for the recovery of worn conductors, one of which is braked and maintains the conductors at the original tension.
